Survey of surveys (2011)

  • Complete

This was a short project which involved determining how many government satisfaction, quality of life, or related surveys have been conducted by Gauteng municipalities and government departments. The project built a case for a more integrated approach to subsequent GCRO quality of life surveys, which through co-investment by all parts of government in the region has become a much larger sample survey, enabling comparative data at much smaller geographic scales (with representivity at ward level). The results of the project are summarised in the GCRO Occasional Paper: Survey of surveys: A survey of citizen-based surveys conducted by provincial and local government in Gauteng.
