GCRO ED to serve on CSIR Urban Knowledge Exchange SA (uKESA) Advisory Board

The Executive Director of the Gauteng City Region Observatory (GCRO), Rashid Seedat, has joined the Advisory Committee of the Urban Knowledge Exchange Southern Africa (uKesa)

uKesa is located at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). uKesa brings together organisations across the region and provides an online knowledge repository. The online portal focuses on information about the built environment and human settlements. The appointment of the Advisory Committee aims to strengthen accountability with partners, introduce innovation and bring diversity of voices to the platform. Rashid Seedat said “The GCRO is excited about working with organisations in Southern Africa on this platform, so that we can learn and share”.
