Energy and Climate Protection Conference

Josephine attended the “Energy and Climate Protection Conference” on 5 October 2011 at Turbine Hall, Newtown, Johannesburg. The conference was co-hosted by Gauteng Department of Local Government & Housing (GDLG&H), SALGA GP, University of Johannesburg and University of Stuttgart (Germany). Some topics presented at the plenary session include (i) Energy as a key element of an integrated climate technology concept in the city region of Gauteng; (ii) Climate change response strategy and action plan (iii) Green strategic programme; and (iv) Integrated energy and climate protection scenarios in Gauteng.
